When a patient is stranded abroad with severe mobility restrictions—and has a young child relying on them—standard travel plans simply will not work. At Antlink, designing solutions for complex situations is what we enjoy doing the most.
We recently handled a deeply delicate case down in Antalya. Our patient was unable to walk, far from home, and accompanied only by her child. Ensuring a smooth journey meant managing medical safety while keeping the process entirely stress-free for both mother and child.
As soon as we received the go-ahead, our operations team went straight to work building a comprehensive, end-to-end itinerary: We assigned a professional medical escort to travel alongside them, providing continuous care. Wheelchair assistance at the airport was pre-arranged to eliminate any possible physical strain on the patient. Bed-to-bed ground ambulance services were organized and both crews were adequately informed of the patient’s medical state.
Throughout the entire process, maintaining clear communication with the family was our top priority so they always knew what step came next.
Thanks to swift coordination and meticulous monitoring, the journey was completed smoothly and the patient and her child were finally in the comfort of their home. Every successful outcome in such complex cases readies our team for an even more complex one.
